Feasibility Assessment
We have conducted feasibility assessments as a prelude to various projects through the years. A feasibility assessment is a preliminary study undertaken to determine and document a project's viability. The results of the study are used to make a decision whether to proceed with the project or table it. We employed this approach prior to beginning the goat browsing project to eradicate eastern red cedars in the Loess Hills. Through a combination of secondary research, stakeholder discussions and one-on-one conversations with interested parties, it became evident that this was a valuable project worth pursuing.
